Partner with LEFT Network
We promote the publishers doing the work. Here's what that partnership looks like, and how to start one.
Who this is for
Independent and established outlets doing progressive and left-leaning journalism. Newsletters. Academic and nonprofit presses covering policy and politics. Documentary filmmakers and podcasters creating content in the same lane.
If your outlet already shows up on LEFT Network, this is for you — you can claim your listing today. If it doesn't yet, this is where you find out what adding it looks like.
What partnership looks like
There are two tiers today, and both work the same way underneath: your RSS feed, your headlines, your click. The difference is how much we do on top of that.
Community
Your feed gets pulled in like every other source: stories appear in the homepage feed, in Explore, and they're eligible for The Report same as anyone else's. You're listed on our source page. No fee, no exclusivity, no application beyond telling us your feed is fair game.
This is the default. Most sources on LEFT Network are here.
Featured
Everything in Community, plus more visibility: priority consideration for The Report, a source spotlight when we run one, and a custom page for your outlet on LEFT Network. We'll send you a plain-language note on how your content performed here, when we have something worth sharing.
In exchange, we ask for a link back — your site, your newsletter, wherever makes sense for you — and, when it's useful to both of us, an early heads-up on stories you think matter.
What's next: We're still shaping what closer collaboration looks like and welcome feedback or ideas! If you want to help shape it rather than wait for a finished version, get in touch.
What we offer
Every link on LEFT Network routes straight to the publisher's own page. We don't host your articles, we don't republish them, and we don't put anything behind a wall of our own. If a story's paywalled at the source, it's still paywalled when someone clicks through from us.
An editor decides what runs where: what gets the headline slot on The Report, what makes the homepage feed, what lands in Podcasts & Video. That decision isn't based on outlet size. A story from a small newsletter can lead The Report the same as one from an outlet ten times its size, if it's the better story in that moment.
What we ask for
Your written say-so that the feed's fair game for the partnership — the same thing Community already covers, just put on paper. A logo or brand asset so we can credit you properly wherever your work appears.
Attribution discipline goes both ways. We name you clearly, every time, everywhere your content shows up and we ask the same in reverse where you're referencing us. If something's wrong or missing, tell us and we'll fix it fast.
If you ever need to pull a story, correct a credit, or send a takedown request, we respond quickly and in plain language — our DMCA process lays out how that works. We'd rather over-communicate with a partner than let a dispute sit.
Publishers — this is where it starts.
